The next morning was cold & chilly when I walked the eight or so blocks from my Broadway hotel to the MOMA on West 53rd street. The long line outside the door dashed any plans of a quick visit, so had to settle for shopping instead at the MOMA store across the street.
Walking home, a drizzle developed, which turned into light rain, and then into sparsely falling snow! Three layers of clothing and a cap isn’t going to be enough, I thought to myself. And oh man, was it cold!
Back at the hotel, I hailed a cab for the airport but stopped it several times for me to take pictures through an open window. A photograph of a bus billboard of the Liberty Lady, diagonally streaked by the lightly falling snow, aptly made my day. My cab driver, an immigrant with a funny accent, didn’t understand what all the fuss was about. This is New York City and it’s snowing. I didn’t bother to tell him that it’s been 20 years since I’ve seen snow fall from the sky. Enjoy.
Great shots of NYC - Thank you for giving me a taste of home!
Cheers!

Hi Bobby,
Nice. I was there last year for the first time. In your brief stay, you were able to capture in pictures the heart of NY. Great shots. Somehow, the city grows on you and when you leave, you get that feeling that it is a great city. My first impressions though were not good...not your pics....the city. Ha,ha! When were you there?
