During the last week or so & shortly after sunset, I found myself outdoors & looking skyward, wondering if a spectacle is in the cards. Dusk is a special moment for many who spend their daylight hours dreaming about its colors. The moment is magical, when shortly after the sun slips below the horizon the clouds would light-up. (Peak color and light lasts only for a moment, and then it's gone, so pay attention!)

I was on my way home yesterday when the magic started. It helped that my camera was in the back seat, ready to rumble. What do you do when peak light appears during rush hour traffic? You pull-over and whip-out your camera, of course! And when it becomes too dark to hand-hold your shots? You whip-out your tripod of course! To hesitate is to miss the moment. Yet as dusks go, tomorrow is another day. Enjoy.
