Faces of Sabtang Island

The people of Sabtang are a friendly lot. Everyone, including strangers, get a good morning greeting. They've learned to smile for the casual photograph, or to ignore us photographers completely when we can't stop shooting. A simple life on a small island, now that's an alluring thought!

actually people from batanes readily give their smiles and hellos. they are the friendliest and the nicest people i have seen so far.
