Somewhere near the southern tip of France is the old port of Marseille, a coastal town founded by the Greeks more than 600 years B.C. A port with a lot of history, it was re-built after being completely destroyed during WWII.
Don't miss: Notre-dame de la Garde a hill-top church overlooking Marseille, Chateau D'If an old military outpost-turned-prison among the Frioul Islands, and the picturesque old port itself and its hundreds of sailboats. Enjoy.
