Bohol is about an hour by plane south of Manila, and Panglao is a small island connected to it. We stayed at the Panglao Island Nature Resort, a nice cozy little place with cottages on a cliff overlooking the sea. Cool.
We went boating and snorkeled in a nearby coral reserve.
We also took a day tour to see a really old church, climb the chocolate hills (which was green at that time of the year!), pestered some sleeping tarsiers, and ride a riverboat upstream to see a small waterfall. Lots of fun. Highly recommended.
