The Pangasinan Countryside

While traveling on safari, we keep our eyes wide open, looking for photographic opportunities along the way. The landscape is specially quaint in the early hours of the morning, when it is rendered in ways rarely noticed. When we find subjects of note, we stop and compose our art. Harvest-time had come and gone. There are just a few areas still planted or in the process of being harvested, and these pockets are gems when we find them.

The locals, they often gather to watch and ask what we're doing. They wonder what city boys like us are doing walking around wide-open corn fields, neatly planted rice paddies, around a herd of ducks on the edge of a pond or following several cows being led to water. We tell them we're awed. They are almost always bewildered. Enjoy.
