Palawan is a province of nearly 1,800 small islands, considered to be the final nature frontier in the Philippines.
Getting there from Manila is a journey in itself: 1.5 hours on a small 19-seater plane, then a 5 minute bus trip to the beach, then a speed boat takes you to a motorized banca outrigger offshore, and then it's another 45 minute trip through calm blue water until you get to the resort of your choice where another speed boat takes you ashore. Whew!
We went to Miniloc. We want to go back. Highly recommended. Take a look at the pictures.
