Lagawe is the capitol of the province of Ifugao. During an earlier trip, while passing thru Lagawe on the way to Banaue, we knew we just had to come back. When our bus crossed the Lagawe bridge, we saw a thick fog over the Ibulao River. The golden rays of the morning sun had pierced through that fog and lit the sky a light orange! But alas this time around it was not to be. Although it rained the morning we arrived, the clouds on the eastern horizon remained dark and thick, blocking the rays of the rising sun. Plus the fog over the river wasn't there. Sigh. Fate. Enjoy.
