The Intramuros Golf Club is the first and the oldest golf course in the Philippines. It was built by the Americans when they wrestled Manila from Spain around the turn of the 19th century. Instead of tearing down the old walls that was Intramuros, they built a golf course around it. Great idea. We wondered what Intramuros looked like at dawn so we took our cameras and tripods for a peek one morning. Instead of the rising sun, thick heavy clouds greeted us at day-break.
