My parents are Ivatans and I've been in Batanes twice so far. Once when the roads are still plain dirt and the houses made of stones and 2nd time in 2007 and the roads are now paved and quite a few houses reflecting modernization. However, the beauty of the island itself has not change nor the good characteristics of the Ivatan's. People of Batanes defines hospitality and kindness. May the islands of Batanes and its people continued to be bless....

actually i didnt reach yet batanes but as i glanced with the sceneries i found it so wonderful. im a nature lover and God really bestowed His power to this lil island..i met few ivatans and they were nice and hospitable. how i wish to reach batanes...hope sooner...
