Grandson Damien Boorman performed excerpts from Shakespeare's King
Lear. It was a small dramatic segment of an interesting music and
dance collage of Shakespeare's various works. His high school scripted
and produced the play called "Murdering Nirvana".

I did not have the advantage of a front row center seat, so positioned
myself on one side. Still, I managed a few shots.

King Lear: "How sharper than a tooth it is to have a thankless child!"

"You think I'll weep; / No, I'll not weep: / I have full cause of
weeping, but this heart / Shall break into a hundred thousand flaws /
Or ere I'll weep. O fool! I shall go mad"

"Blow, winds, and crack your cheeks! rage! blow!"

"I am a man / More sinn'd against than sinning"

"A man may see how this world goes with no eyes. Look with thine ears:
see how yond justice rails upon yon simple thief

"You must bear with me. Pray you now, forget and forgive: I am old and foolish"

" Pray, do not mock me:
I am a very foolish fond old man,
Fourscore and upward;
And, to deal plainly,
I fear, I am not in my perfect mind.
Methinks, I sho'ld know you, and know this man;
Yet I am doubtful: for I am mainly ignorant
What place this is; and all the skill I have
Remembers not these garments; nor I know not
Where I did lodge last night: do not laugh at me;
For, as I am a man, I think this lady
To be my child Cordelia.

Shakeseare: The weight of this sad time we must obey; / Speak what we
feel, not what we ought to say. The oldest hath borne most: we that
are young, / Shall never see so much, nor live so long"
