My daughter received a bouquet of beautiful baby mums from her prom date last week. Of course, I wondered how they'd look up-close...

For reference, I included a photo taken with a normal lens so you can tell what baby mums normally look like. The round yellow core at the center of each baby mum was about half a centimeter in diameter. The close-ups were shot at 2X magnification using very soft light. (And for those who asked to see what type of equipment I use for macrophotography, I'm including a photo taken recently while at work in Batanes.) Enjoy.
