Crocker Grove along 17-Mile Drive is home to the oldest and largest Monterey Cypress trees in existence in one of only two remaining stands in the world, the other is located in nearby Point Lobos State Natural Reserve. The Crocker Grove is worth at least a short visit to see the largest specimens of these rare plants.
