We picked up the flowers at the grocery store today so I could photograph something (dreary weather). I am pleased with this photo.

Photo notes: The saturated reds and oranges of the flowers gave the camera all sorts of problems. I had to under-expose quite a bit and bring it back carefully in Photoshop. Used tripod, timer/remote and mirror lock-up.
The stem has a sheath of plastic around it to keep it from wilting.
