This attempt at HDR is more like it.
Notice how the background is not over-exposed and you can look right through the large vase!

We've been accumulating a small collection of old glass and as you can tell, I especially like the blue.

Yes, I am using the 85 F1.8. It is relatively new so it is getting the most attention. Excellent sharpness and smooth brokeh, but lots of CA. I love it.

Hello Aravind, Good to hear from you. For this image I used the CS3 beta “Merge to HDR” feature. Often times I stack the images myself using layers, mask in/out the shadows and highlights and then merge. Bob
