As with January 5th’s photo, Still Life #3, I wanted to get a near infinite depth of field.
This time I took several photographs, each with a different part of the flower in focus. I then used Photoshop’s “Auto Align Layers” function to line them up as changing the focus point changes the view. Then instead of using “Auto Blend Layers” I manually merged them to obtain the most in-focus shot I could.
