Al Harper, owner of the D&SNG, working with Dr.Duane Smith had a special train for the descendants of the Pioneers of Durango. They came from as far away as Houston and Kansas. For some it was thier first ride on this Rail. This was a breakfast train up to Cascade Wye, a breakfast and some live music, a talk about the Durango history by Duane, a group photo, and then return to Durango, Al had the Victorian Aid Society along, so we got to add vintage flare and talk to the folks about thier families. It was one of the nicest rides I've been on, though I never tire of the ride.
We visited Durango and rode the train in September of '05. Would love to come back and do it again! You obviously knew exactly how to shoot this event. I learned that I need to work on my "moving traing" technique. Great Gallery!
