changed the plug on a RC-100 to match the 300D.
white RC-100 wire, RELEASE, goes to plug tip.
red RC-100 wire, FOCUS, goes to plug ring.
RC-100 copper shield, COMMON, goes to plug ground.
this tested OK so will snip the tie wrap and give
it a go on a Gerber daisy.
