Most of the glue that is brushed on ends up being squeezed out when clamped.
It ends up being a lot of waste, but that is the only way to be certain of total adhesion.

I used to have a pneumatic press for this operation, and used 80 pounds per square inch to press the boards together.
Here I am using another propeller blank as a perfectly flat surface to clamp to.
I ended up using almost every clamp in the shop this time.
