Finally, fitting the wings.
Building an airplane is a project of milestones.
Fitting the wings to the fuselage is one of them.
The airplane sat across my table saw bench for about five months while I built the center section at the wing root. (As well as an 800 sq foot garage addition to the shop)
It was tedious fitting, and the welding was often difficult due to the problem of finding a way to access and position for a given joint.
