In June if 2021 I flew to Johnson Creek for the annual Johnson Creek Super Cub Fly-In.
I spent eight days there. This was my first trip to this part of the Idaho back Country.
I spent most of my time at Johnson Creek, but did get out in the mornings to further explore the area.
Once tagging along behind a friend in his Super Cub and a few times by myself.
The flying is incredible and can be quite challenging.
None of the strips I flew into were particularly difficult, but they did have one characteristic in common. "No go around".
In the Back Country you have to know your airplane intimately and be dialed in.
It ain't the big city.
