Anastrepha suspensa

Gary Steck says: "This is Anastrepha suspensa,...the only member of the genus that occurs as far north as Sanibel, FL. The dark wing bands are characteristic of this species. A few other rare species of the genus occur further to the south. A. ludens, the Mexican fruit fly, does not occur in Florida."
