Day 4

Heavy rain again overnight with blitzkrieg lightning storm muddied the waters again. Rigged with streamers again, headed into the catch and release section. Jon land a nice size bow at upper Ace in the hole. Tom landed a good size brown trout directly across river. Jon landed huge cutthroat (~24") at upper Muscle riffle to start the day. Tom then countered by hooking a big bow in the main riffle below Ace in the Hole and Jon landed a good brown in the same spot. Large viper snake witnessed by Jon on far bank in big riffle. Bob's pond was clear but unproductive. Midge hole was also tough but Jon landed one big bow. Upstream again many fish caught for eaters. Jon got 5, Tom got 5, Jake got 2, Billy got 1. Another good charcoal dinner of Trout and Rice. Fish bitting very well on small leeches and soft hackles. Dam opened after dark. Colder temps settled in ~40 degrees overnight.
