This course is for students who want to learn the creative process of abstract paintings by using different techniques of spreading the paint on the canvas, Many layers will be apply. The final result will be a glow polished piece of art.
MATERIALS:
* 1 box of color oil based sticks
* Sheets of thick white paper.
* Oil colors (Winton 37 ml student) or anyother brand. Larger tubes for larger canvas.
Raw umber, burnt umber, burnt siena, orange (hue), yellow (hue), light red, alizarin crimson, ochre, cerulean blue, french ultramarine, cobalt blue (hue), ivory black, permanent green, light green, viridian (dark green), purple or violet
Gold, cooper (Permalba or Winsor and Newton).
* White (marca Permalba 150 ml)
* 1 bottle of gray gesso Bob Rose and a large brush (wide).
* Refined oil (winsor and newton), odorless turpertine, paper towels.
* Brushes(1 or 2 packs in different sizes and shapes, flat, filbert,round)
* 1 large (wide brush) synthetic white nylon.
* 2 small glass container for turpertine and oil.
* A large paleta (wood or white plastic)no acuarela. 3 canvas medium size.
* Prior to class, cover canvas with Gray gesso with a large brush 1 or 2 layers, sand after layer.
* Pencil, eraser, ruler,
could a person like me that has never painted go to this course or should I start at the introduction of oil painting ? And is there a date that the course begins or it begins at any time you have a group?
