The Chinese had nothing to do with that road.. it was the German Government fund and German Contractor and Consultant

The road from Shibam - Al Mahweet and Kawkaban was not built by Chinese. I was fully funded by German Government. The contractor was WTV (Walter Toshti Bau) and Consultant DIWI Consult International, Essen I worked as office manager with the Consultant's office at at Shamat during 1992-1993 (until the road was handed over to Highway Authority.
