brian thanks for interesting overview of your experiences. How did you get out to the plateau to shoot the great panorama views of the pyramids.... Did you walk, camel ride, or is there a road for vehicles that you can get out and experience that great viewpoint. Will be with a small group tour but want to get to that vantage point on my own . thanks for your help. All the advice on tripadvisor tends to talk about panorama view that cars and buses go to but pyramids don't appear close (dop) and people stand on small wall.
