Beautiful stunning gallery. The amount of snow is just right...
Iceland is not that cold because of the Gulf stream, which brings also more humidity to the west in terms of rain and snow.

Paula, I don't know. This was my first trip to the Island, but I do know that the snow was deeper toward the west. One person told me that they were having a thaw.
