Ahummer shooter.jpg

Using some stuff I had laying aroung I came up with this setup. I had some manfroto quick release clamps so I had a longer alumium bar made and attached the lens,Camera and a light stand to the angled bar.

The Camera is screwed to the bar for extra stability and the wooden block is a spacer.

I used a Sigma 300MM F4 with either a 2.0X or a 1.4X adapter. Shots from #8 on were taken using a function of the Canon camera that allows you to hold down the shutter button and when the bird comes into focus the Camera will fire. Instead of holding down the button I used a remote switch to lock it down.
