Before heading off on vacation to St. Martin I came across a blog written by a med student going to school in St. Martin which included lots of things to do there. Naturally, the thing that really caught my interest and first thing I wanted to do when we got there, was explore an abandoned 5 star resort, La Belle Creole. The resort was abandoned in 1995 after it apparently suffered too much damage to repair in a hurricane! Was a bit hard to believe considering it seemed relatively in tact!
