Thanks for your comments Sandi. Always appreciated. I have been photographing a couple wild owls and a red shoulder hawk from a small wooded area . The birds come out to the edges of the woods quite often to feed. It is pretty difficult as they are very fast and you never really know where they are going to fly out from. Does make for some wonderful images as the woods is offset from some of the dead perches and later in the day the light makes the woods (BG) almost turn black and the bird are nicely lit . Don't have to do much to the BG as they often turn black (if you slightly underexpose the birds).
