Ibnu Sina (980-1037)
Ibn Sina is a world Muslim scientist who contributed greatly in the field of medicine. The owner's full name Abu Ali al-Huseyn bin Abdullah bin Hasan Ali bin Sina was born in the month of Shafar 370 H or August 980 AD. He has done great research that is immortalized by the history of medical science in the world.
Ibn Sina had an extraordinary passion for learning, he studied various fields of knowledge. Not only studying in the field of medicine, Ibn Sina also studied theology and mathematics. So it is not surprising that at the age of 16 he became the center of attention of the doctors of his day.
Not only that, Ibn Sina was also one of the first to find a way of treating sick people by injecting drugs into the sufferer's body. So do not be surprised if he was given the nickname al-Ra's or the peak of the mountain of knowledge.
His enthusiasm for learning and a high work ethic have made Ibn Sina one of the most important Muslim scientists in the world. In the year 428 H or 1037 AD Ibn Sina died in Hamdzan, Persia. Even so, his works and thoughts are still being developed and studied by world scientists.
Al-Khawarizmi (780-850)
The next influential Muslim scientist in the world was Al-Khwarizmi. He is known as one of the Muslim scientists who contributed greatly in the fields of mathematics, geography and astronomy. The owner's full name Muhammad Ibn Musa al-Khwarizmi was born in Khwarezmia, Uzbekiztan in 780 AD.
One of the greatest discoveries of Al-Khawarizmi was creating the use of Secans and Tangents in trigonometric and astronomical research. Not only that, he is also an expert in other fields such as philosophy, arithmetic, music, geometry, Islamic history and chemistry. Al-Khawarizmi is also a figure who first introduced Algebra and accounting.
He has discovered various fields of science, one of which is mathematical concepts which are still used today. Al-Khwarizmi died between 220 AD and 230 AD, other sources say that he died in 266 AH or 850 AD in Baghdad.
Ibnu al-Nafis (1213-1288)
Ibn al-Nafis is an Islamic scientist in the field of medicine who is famous in the world. In the 13th century AD he was able to formulate the basics of the circulation of the heart, lungs and capillaries for the first time in the world. Thanks to his extraordinary services, Ibn al-Nafis was awarded the Father of Circulatory Physiology.
Ibn al-Nafis was born in Damascus or Syria in 1210 and died in Egypt on December 17, 1288. In addition to contributing to the field of medicine, Ibn al-Nafis is also known as a versatile Muslim scientist. He succeeded in introducing a more logical classification of hadith science.
Jabir Ibn-Hayyan (721-815)
Jabir Ibn-Hayyan is a great Muslim scientist who is often referred to as " the father of modern chemistry ". He is an expert in the field of chemistry, physics, pharmacy who has changed the perception of various natural events which at that time were considered as something that could not be predicted.
Some of his discoveries in the field of chemistry have become the basis for the development of modern chemistry today. Not only that, Jabir Ibn-Hayyan was able to apply his knowledge in the field of chemistry into the process of making metal and iron.
Ibn Khaldun (1332-1406)
Waliuddin Abdurrahman bin Muhammad bin Muhammad bin Abi Bakr Muhammad bin al-Hasan or known as Ibn Khaldun is a world-famous Islamic historian and sociologist. He was born in Tunisia on 1 Ramadan 732 H or 27 May 1332 AD.
Since childhood, Ibnu Khaldun has been known as someone who memorized the Quran . So it is not surprising when he is able to produce extraordinary works and thoughts. Until now his works in the field of Islamic sociology continue to be developed and become monumental works.
Al Zahrawi (936-1013)
Al Zahrawi is one of the most famous Muslim scientists in the world. He was a figure who laid the foundations of modern surgery. Until now, his works and thoughts have been used as a curriculum for medical education in Europe.
He is an Ansar Arab descendant who settled in Spain. Al-Zahrawi is known as one of the most genius Muslim scientists of his time.
