'Ohelo

The native Hawaiian relative of the blueberry. 'Ohelo 'ai is abundant on the lava fields and scrub forests, where it produces amazing amounts of refreshingly juicy (though not extremely tasty) fruit in late summer. 'Ohelo la'au is the large forest 'ohelo shrub, which are abundant in native forests. Both types of ohelo often have striking and extremely attractive foliage colorations, including various combinations of green, orange, red and purple. 'Ohelo la'au fruit is almost always basic red, but 'ohelo 'ai fruit can be found in a wide variety of colors , including purple, red, orange, yellow to nearly white. I haven't noticed any strong correlation between fruit colors and flavors, though you'd expect the darker fruits to be more bitter.
