Phyllostegia Racemosa

Hakalau NWR

Kiponapona, Phyllostegia Racemosa, ready for planting at Hakalau NWR. (Very rare - wild population extinct?) The flowers are actually at the top of a sideways-growing plant in the tray. The flowers are small and scented, for insect pollination.
