The weedy edges of the trout pond area a favorite area of the finches and juncos.

Edit, unfortunately in 2012 the edges of the trout pond were clear-cut and dozed by construction/parks crews, and most of the bird habitat is gone! Really sad to see such a nice area needlessly ruined. :(
