Koli'i Colony

Upper Waiakea Forest Reserve, Diagonal Northeast Trail

This entirely(!) epiphytic colony had about two dozen members of various ages. (None appeared like they might flower this year, though.) The mud pit below them, at the center of the photo, was an ominous pig wallow.
