In early 2016, all 5 naked-eye planets (Mercury, Venus,
Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn) were visible in the sky at the
same time. Mercury, Venus, Saturn, and Mars were all
in the eastern sky at dawn. Jupiter is out of this picture,
farther in the western sky. This is taken from the Lake
Murray Dam in Columbia, SC.
