Great color and contrast on this image. Excellent! Everything looks wet and just enough light to make it all pop. It's strange how my eye goes to the one leaf that seems to be standing upright on the large boulder in the middle of the stream. Pretty neat!

The shot reminds me a bit of a shot that I once saw on another website: PhotoSig, where a heron stood perched on the stone in the middle of the stream. I remember then that I said that the shot would have been better without the heron. I am amazed to see a similar shot as I had imagined here. ps. That heron shot was not yours by any chance was it?
