Butterfield's Lullaby

Has to be the best time to visit Clingman's Dome. The colors are spectacular, and the poor dead tree (normally a sore point with me) adds character. v

Beautiful shot. A terrific place for a sunset. I hope the Fraser Firs are coming back. The last time I was up there, the hillsides were almost completely full of dead or dying trees.
