The woods are full of those old stones, the only remnants of the hundreds of families who once called the Smokies "Home". Very thoughtful image, my friend.

Always very exciting to find old fences, houses, shelters in the woods, and imagine the time where somebody was living there. More common in the old Europe than in the US, by the way. Superb colors. Nice image that tells a lot.
