John Oliver Place

Built in the 1820s, the John Oliver cabin is the oldest in Cades Cove and one of over 70 historical buildings in the park. It is located a short distance, several hundred yards, off the Loop Road.

Wow 1820's, that's 186 years already. Seemed to be a very strong and stable place :) The foreground image is also a big plus for this great image. :) V.

One of my favorite spots in the Cove. I love the dips and turns the loop road makes as it approaches and passes this cabin! Beautiful.
