The distinct peaks of LeConte, the third tallest mountain in the national park at 6593 feet, are concealed beneath the clouds of the storm system that ravaged the Texas and Louisiana coasts just days ago.
No apology is made for the area planning commission that allowed that eyesore to be built above the city of Gatlinburg about 20 years ago.
