This is the earliest piece of Kondo boro that I've ever seen or sold, from clear back in 2007 - serious Japanese glass history here! Borosilicate art glass was introduced into Japan in the early 2000's, and Yoshi was one of the earliest artists to make the switch from soft glass to boro, bringing his dot stacking style with him, and eventually some self taught tricks as well. This early piece showcases some of his dot stacking on both sides of the pendant, and you can wear it either way, depending on your mood.
