For many collectors, these earlier Kondo gems are the best, showing super clean, killer dot stacking with really interesting masked patterns. Beyond the awesome dot stacking design this piece displays, it is VERY special in that it features a whopping TEN opals on it, and is one of a small handful of marbles that Yoshi has made which have a ring of 8 opals going around the equator. There is a square opal on the top of each pole here, and then the 8 equatorial opals are all tear drops. This combo of the blue and purple colors in the dot stacking is my personal favorite, so when you combine that with all the opals, you have a marble that is painfully hard to let go of, because I absolutely LOVE this marble!! So much!! It is brilliant Kondo perfection in every way, and an awesome centerpiece for a special collection. Signed 'YK 12'.
