Bill Burchfield of Cape Cod Glass is more known for his furnace made paperweights, but every once in a while he made some REALLY gorgeous little marbles, usually featuring pretty cane inside. He's not making them any more, so they're VERY hard to come by. These are REALLY hard to let go of and this is the first time I've ever sold a small batch of them. His little filigranas always feature layers of cane with a core inside, complex little zingers that are SO wonderful! Cape Cod's marbles have been highly prized over the years and are very collectible, so you'll definitely want one of these pieces in your collection, rare chance here! This gem is especially complex and it's like peeling an onion with your eyes to see all the goodness layered inside! The very middle twisted cane is goldstone on one side and bright red on the other.
