Francis is Canada's most famous and well-known marble artist, where among other things he was featured on the fantastic Canadian science show "How It's Made" where he showed his hot shop methods for creating art glass marbles. I don't believe Francis is still making marbles (as of 2024), as I haven't seen any new ones in quite a few years. He used classic soft glass furnace techniques to create his wonders, and while some of them are the normal cane style swirl marbles, others are very unique and highly collectible. Every collection needs a Coupal represented in it! This cane style marble here features the classic Coupal colors that Francis is most well known for.
