Virginia is one of our old school glassblowers, and she created beautiful marbles from the furnace for over 2 decades. Sadly she hasn't made any new marbles in some time now, but these early gems are a must for all collections! This one was recently released from her personal collection, a beautiful and special gem she kept and has now released to the collector world. Her clear based filigrana marbles are probably what she is best known for, and this one right here is an absolute stunner, large and sweet! The cane is clean and gorgeous, with such amazingly vibrant colors. I really love how you can see through from one side to the other as you're studying the cane work. The marble is actually hollow, with a large air trap in the middle, a trick she used over the years to help keep the filigrana lined up nicely as she heated it.
