The Youghiogheny Glass company mainly deals in stained glass today, but in the late 90's and early 2000's they made beautiful paperweights and sculpture as well. From what I've been able to ascertain, an artist named Steve Fenstermacher made most of their sculptural/pw work, so this one was probably made by Steve. This tall and suuuper majestic piece really is a wonder!! The sparkly gold and transparent blue veiling tech within it are BRILLIANT, and oh so gorgeous suspended within that perfect crystal clear glass. This piece is flawless and stunning in hand!!
