If you like marbles that are loaded with glass history, then this is the Boehme piece for you! The big space coin that you see as the centerpiece was made by Steve and SEVEN other well-known murrine artists at the October, 2015 Glass Roots show in Madison, WI. I included some pics Steve sent me of some of the contributing artists working on it, like Ryan Teurfs who's holding up the hot image. Ryan McClure, Dave Strobel, Josh McDaniels, Nathan Middleton, Andy Buckles and Beth James also contributed. If you notice from the pic of Ryan, his image actually looks different than the one in this marble. The various artists made different versions of it, and this is Steve's in which he included his Major Tom astronaut. I especially love how the 'Glass Roots' image was made into a shooting star in the scene, so freaking cool! There's also a large Major Tom on the side and various UFO's from the gang flying around. I love this one, don't care if it ever sells, ha. The UV in Major Tom and the backside is crazy cool also! Signed with Boehme sig chip.
