This is the eye murrine that Stephen created for use in some of his images, and now it is an eye 'ball'. Heh. This is an end of cane which he put on a sphere grinder and rounded out, I love these marbles! You can see the eye come through on both sides of the marble due to the nature of the cane, so it's almost a face...in a way. There are small surface imperfections as you can see, from the glass itself, contained within the cane.
