I am so happy to present to you the amazing work of marble artist Raven Copeland! His work makes a bright and vibrant addition to Glass ORBits as you'll soon be evidently made aware of as you browse through the photos of his work. Raven has worked hard to become one of the 'Vortex Masters' of our world, creating large, deep, gorgeous vortices that draw you in and give your senses a slap that says 'Check THIS out!!'. He is making other styles of marble as well, but he is most well known for his vortices at this point. He is extremely adept at controlling the gold and silver fume so that it comes out super shiny and bright, with amazing colors to behold. He is equally adept at integrating dichro into these designs, and his dichro REALLY pops when you see it in hand. What I've also enjoyed watching is the progression of the backside designs of Raven's marbles - make SURE you check out all the pics of each marble to see the backside! He is now making some truly beautiful patterns and designs, with his original 'Spaceflake' pattern now heading towards the top of my list for favorite backsides ever. It is truly amazing work and you will enjoy adding some of these gems to your collection!!
